We are excited to host an inaugural Kay Brothers Amery Wine dinner in Perth on Wednesday 22 August at Prego Restaurant.
Four delicious courses will be matched with new Kay Brothers vintage releases and a museum vintage of our enduring signature wine Block 6 Shiraz, this is an event you cannot miss.
Canapés on arrival – 2018 Grenache Rosé (new vintage release)
Raw, tender, thinly sliced beef fillet served with pesto aioli, crispy garlic, shaved parmesan and mushroom jam
House-made tortellini filled with Italian porcini mushrooms served in shallots consommé reduction with shaved fresh Manjimup truffles.
Matched with 2017 Basket Pressed Grenache and the new release of 2017 Nero d’Avola.
MAIN COURSE Duo of Duck and Lamb shoulder
Twice cooked in a wood-fired oven, a quarter of duck in a red wine jus and cherry tomato jam.
Slow cooked in a wood-fired oven, lamb shoulder served with couscous salad, garnished with minted yogurt.
Matched with 2016 Hillside Shiraz and museum vintage of 2011 Block 6 Shiraz (our enduring signature wine)
CHEESE PLATE (TO SHARE)
A selection of four fine international cheese served with chocolate tarte, almonds, walnuts and pistachio, seasonal fresh and dried fruit.
